A signature is necessary whenever a crucial decision has to be made with regards to a particular patient. It could be a decision to give a specialized treatment or to release a patient from billing among others. Adding a signature can easily be done by following these steps: 


1. Open the PCR where the signature should be added then select Signatures from the left navigation menu. 

2. From the Signatures form, click New.



3. Fill out the fields from the pop up window. Then click Sign



4. Upon clicking Sign, a new window will appear where users can doodle their signatures. Click Accept.



Do not forget to click Save Changes from the previous window.



5. Once the user has saved their signature, it will be added to the current PCR and can be edited or removed.
