The narrative is a place for user to describe the Emergency and/or Transport in great detail. Users will need to follow their agency and state rules regarding the narrative, but through our Narrative Info Retrieval feature, users will be able to retrieve information that they have already typed into the PCR and pull it directly into the narrative which helps to ensure an accurate report. 


1. Create a new PCR or edit an existing PCR. 

2. Select Narrative from the left navigation menu. 


3. Users will have to type {{ followed by the name of the field they would like to retrieve data from. Upon typing {{, a list of options will appear where users can select which information they would like to include in the narrative.

For example, typing in "We received a {{Disposition}} call on {{Incident Date}} will result in the following text to appear in the narrative as "We received a Patient Treated, Transported by this EMS Unit call on 11/12/2019".
